The Timberwolves remained perfect in NBA Summer League action on Tuesday in Las Vegas, pulling away late to take down the Detroit Pistons 89-73 and move to 3-0 with one game left in preliminary play.

Terrence Shannon Jr. scored 24 points on just 9 field goal attempts, leading Minnesota to a perfect 3-0 record. A late 15-0 run put the game out of reach.

Despite 22 points from Ron Holland, the Pistons sustained their first loss of the Summer League tournament in a blowout loss to the Timberwolves.
