Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo is set to be sidelined for “a few weeks” with a muscular injury. The 19-year-old midfielder sustained the issue in United’s draw against Aston Villa before October’s international break and subsequently withdrew from the England squad because of the issue.

On Thursday, November 7, United will take on PAOK in the Europa League, before returning to action on Sunday, November 10 also at home to Leicester City. Both those matches - in different competitions - seem to be realistic targets for Mainoo's proposed injury return date.

Manchester United are now set to be without midfielder Kobbie Mainoo for a number of games in a major blow for Erik ten Hag.
