The NFL playoffs are here once again. With its reputation for producing some of the best football players in the country, it is no surprise that Texas high school football once again has had its fingerprints on nearly every NFL team in the postseason.

There will not be a "Thursday Night Football" game during the NFL playoffs. The 2024 "Thursday Night Football" schedule ran through Week 17. The final broadcast was Dec. 26 between the Seattle Seahawks and Chicago Bears. Another NFL game will not be played on Thursday until the 2025 regular-season opener in September.

Three games are on tap for Sunday as the Buffalo Bills and Denver Broncos collide on CBS, the Philadelphia Eagles and Green Bay Packers meet on FOX, and a nice little Washington Commanders/Tampa Bay Buccaneers matchup ends the night on NBC.

NFL playoff seeding has been confirmed after the regular season concluded on Sunday night, and the race to Super Bowl 59 will begin.
