Napa County officials declared a local emergency on Sunday in response to the Pickett Fire. The fire has burned more than 6,800 acres and is currently 11% contained, CAL FIRE said.

The region’s largest wildfire this year continued to grow in Napa County, but its spread was slower than previous days with similar weather conditions, Cal Fire said.
