Elon Musk’s SpaceX launched its 11th Starship rocket from Texas on Monday and landed it in the Indian Ocean, the last flight before the company begins test-launching a new version of the giant rocket outfitted with more features for moon and Mars missions.

Starship — the biggest and most powerful rocket ever built — thundered into the evening sky from the southern tip of Texas on Monday.
The 123-meter-tall vehicle -- the world’s largest -- will lift off from SpaceX’s Starbase site near Boca Chica in southern Texas in the evening, with both the upper-stage Ship spacecraft and first-stage Super Heavy booster aiming for soft, controlled landings on water in a repeat of the 10th flight test, which took place in August.
