Pakistani journalist Mubasher Lucman labelled Naik as "India's worst export", asserting that the preacher should not be permitted to deliver public sermons or incite hatred.

Naik is wanted by India’s anti-terror National Investigation Agency for alleged terrorist activities. He fled India back in 2016 following a terror attack at a cafe in Dhaka, carried out by people inspired by Naik’s teachings.

Zakir Naik, who is currently abroad, is also being probed by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) for his involvement in terror activities.

Zakir Naik was spotted meeting Lashkar-e-Taiba Muzammil Iqbal Hashmi, Muhammad Harris Dhar and Faisal Nadeem at Pakistan's Badshahi Mosque.
