NASCAR's rule change shields 23XI Racing from race bans amid charter disputes, boosting team eligibility with owner points and speed.

XI Racing is fielding all three teams as open cars. That includes Tyler Reddick and his No. 45 team. This is a result of the ongoing NASCAR lawsuit that 23XI and Front Row Motorsports initiated last year.

The Federal Court denied 23XI Racing's request for a preliminary injunction and a temporary restraining order against NASCAR on Thursday evening (July 17).
