Pittsburgh Steelers offensive coordinator Arthur Smith is making the head coach interview rounds, completing one with the New York Jets.

The New York Jets interviewed Pittsburgh Steelers offensive coordinator Arthur Smith for their head coach position Thursday. Smith, who was the Atlanta Falcons' head coach from 2021-23, was the 11th known coaching candidate to speak with the Jets.

The Jets also are expected to interview Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores, Bills offensive coordinator Joe Brady, Packers defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley, Commanders defensive coordinator Joe Whitt Jr., Vikings quarterbacks coach Josh McCown and 49ers quarterbacks coach Brian Griese.

Ron Rivera , Mike Vrabel, Rex Ryan, Matt Nagy, Aaron Glenn, Mike Locksley, Steve Spagnuolo, Darren Rizzi, and Jeff Ulbrich have all been interviewed for the Jets coaching position. Vrabel was hired as the coach of the Patriots on Jan. 12.
