Updating College Football Playoff and bowl game projections as rivalry week brought the regular season to a close

Penn State football won its final three regular-season games to qualify for a bowl game. Here's where they may go and play.

Rivalry weekend in college football already produced one upset that will shake up the College Football Playoff rankings.

The Wisconsin Badgers are taking on the Minnesota Gophers in the regular season finale, looking to reclaim the Axe Trophy after a disappointing 24-7 loss kept them out of a bowl game last season. Wisconsin has rejuvenated its season this month, putting together two Top 25 wins, including a 27-10 beating of the Illinois Fighting Illini last weekend.

The Iowa State Cyclones will be playing their final regular-season game against the Oklahoma State Cowboys in a game that they should be able to win easily.  As

Voting is now open for the 2026 Pro Bowl Games, presented by Verizon. The Pro Bowl Games will be held on Tuesday, February 3 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco as part of Super Bowl LX week.

Currently, a team like Michigan is projected to represent the B1G in the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl. The Wolverines have their work cut out for them against Ohio State, but this would be the next step up for Iowa, should they somehow manage to find their way in.
