A powerful low-pressure system has impacted the Carolina coast, bringing heavy rain, beach erosion, and overwash from Duck, North Carolina, to Charleston.

A coastal storm is set to bring tropical storm-like conditions to North Carolina, particularly impacting the Outer Banks with heavy rain and strong winds.

A coastal flood advisory was released by the NWS Newport/Morehead City NC on Sunday at 1:54 p.m. valid from Monday 10 p.m. until Wednesday 8 p.m. for Northern Outer Banks.
