Frank Ragnow's return from retirement is over before it even started. Two days after the Detroit Lions removed Ragnow from the retired list with the hopes of bolstering their offensive line, the team announced the four-time Pro Bowl center will no longer be able to suit up due to a failed physical.

Reinforcements for the Detroit Lions ' offensive line won't be coming in the form of retired center Frank Ragnow.

During the check-up, Lions doctors found that Ragnow had a grade three hamstring strain that would have sidelined him for the rest of the regular season, ending his short-lived comeback to football.
