Jalen Brunson, who will almost certainly add a second All-NBA nod to his resume in the coming weeks, was the lone Knicks finalist for a major league award. After many reporters were split (including known traitor, Fred Katz), Brunson ran away with the vote with 70 first-place votes.

Brunson beat out Edwards and Denver Nuggets centre Nikola Jokic for the award. He's the third winner since the NBA began handing out the award, joining De'Aaron Fox — the inaugural winner in 2022-23 —and Stephen Curry, who won last year.
