Back in the old days of The Walking Dead, character deaths had a real novelty to them. Similar to Game of Thrones during its peak, all bets were off — no character was too important to die except maybe Rick Grimes.

If they weren’t Daryl and Carol and therefore indestructible, we’d be seriously stressed after watching Sunday’s The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon. “L’Invisible” left both of our heroes at death’s door, and it sure didn’t look like death was gonna wait for them to knock before letting them in!

After being freed by his jailer to help fight off the ravenous walkers, Daryl grabbed his morning star weapon and proceeded to bash in the skulls of all approaching zombies. While he was clearing them on one side,

I’m having a tough time getting through Daryl Dixon: The Book Of Carol without laughing at all the stupid, absurd, goofy things they make our heroes do, and all the little ridiculous plot holes that the writers are too lazy to patch up. It’s too bad, because there are moments of an actually decent television show trying to get through.
