Eintracht Frankfurt have rejected an €80 million ($93 million) offer from Newcastle United for their forward Hugo Ekitiké, broadcaster Sky reported on Tuesday. According to the report, Frankfurt were not happy with the payment terms.

Newcastle’s pursuit of Hugo Ekitike has hit a roadblock after Eintracht Frankfurt turned down their opening bid and demanded improved terms.

Should Newcastle succeed with a move for Eintracht Frankfurt striker Hugo Ekitike they would land one of Europe's brightest young talents. Only three players aged 23 or under were directly involved in more goals than Ekitike in the top five European leagues last season.
