Officials have announced the preliminary cause of death for a 5-year-old Kentucky boy who was found dead after he wandered away from his home Tuesday morning.

Ricky L. Leap, 58, is charged with second-degree assault, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and resisting arrest.
