ROME (AP) — Atalanta’s winning streak ended at 11 matches after drawing at fourth-placed Lazio 1-1 in Serie A on Saturday. Substitute Marco Brescianini’s late equalizer meant the Bergamo squad remained atop Serie A.

A late equaliser from Marco Brescianini kept Atalanta top of Serie A with a point at Lazio. Fisayo Dele-Bashiru's first-half goal for the hosts looked to have Lazio on course for victory before Brescianini scored in the 88th minute.

Lazio started very aggressively and had an extraordinary triple opportunity, as Marco Carnesecchi made two big saves in quick succession on Taty Castellanos, then could only watch as the Matteo Guendouzi curler thumped the far post.

Atalanta's winning streak in Serie A ended with a 1-1 draw at Lazio on Saturday, as Fisayo Dele-Bashiru's first-half goal for the hosts was cancelled out by a late equaliser from Marco Brescianini. The result ended Atalanta's streak of 11 consecutive victories but Gian Piero Gasperini's side are still top of the table with 41 points,
