The Pikes Peak National Cemetery is grieving the loss of its cemetery director, who died unexpectedly last month at the age 43.

Colorado Governor Jared Polis verbally declared a disaster emergency on Sunday for the Elk Creek Fire in Rio Blanco County, southeast of Meeker.
