It looks like things are starting on the right for Dricus Du Plessis and Khamzat Chimaev. The two middleweights clash in a highly-anticipated championship fight this Saturday in the main event of UFC 319 – which goes down at United Center in Chicago.

Dricus du Plessis is set to defend his UFC middleweight title for the third time, but this comes against Khamzat Chimaev at the United Center in Chicago on Saturday, Aug. 16, during UFC 319, which concludes the UFC summer pay-per-view series.

The UFC recently signed a deal with CBS/Paramount+ to broadcast events on both networks. The deal will go into effect next year.

In a major early move under new ownership, Paramount has agreed to pay $7.7 billion for media rights to UFC’s mixed martial arts events in the U.S. Paramount said Monday that it has signed a seven-year deal with TKO Group Holdings that will put 13 marquee UFC events and 30 fight nights on streaming platform Paramount+ beginning next year.
