Wednesday works on a new murder mystery in Season 2 of the Netflix hit, but her and her friends' fates still look dark and unclear by the end of Part 1.

All told, Wednesday season 2 is comprised of eight episodes. The first four are currently streaming on Netflix, and the last four arrive on September 3. Yes, and it finds our titular hero returning to Nevermore Academy as the school's "savior" following the events of season 1.

But while Season 1 boasts an episode count of eight, Season 2 seems to have fallen short with only four episodes released as of today. How can this be? Are we getting more episodes in the future, or is this new season just woefully short?
