Winter Weather Warnings for 11 States with 4 Feet of Heavy Snow to Hit
Winter weather-related warnings were in place for at least 11 states early on Thursday, with National Weather Service (NWS) meteorologists anticipating up to four feet of snow to hit some parts of the country.

On Monday at 12:32 p.m. the NWS Hanford CA issued a winter weather advisory valid from Tuesday 11 p.m. until Thursday 11 p.m. The advisory is for Mariposa-Madera Lower Sierra, Fresno-Tulare Lower Sierra and South End of the Lower Sierra.
