What is the difference between the (trashman) emerald rom
Jul 6, 2018 · Trashman is the name of a ROM dumper (person, not tool), and his dump of Emerald is known to be good and accurate to the real cartridges. Other dumps may have been modified with intros or save patches, so it's not a good idea to patch onto them or start a hack on one of them unless you can confirm it's also a good dump.

Emerald (Trashman) and Emerald (Independent) are basically both clean dumps IIRC. FireRed (Squirrels) is FireRed v1.0, which is the most used in hacking. There is also a FireRed v1.1, but I don't remember who dumped it. It changes all the memory addresses, so patches from 1.0 and 1.1 are not compatible with the other rom.

Nov 17, 2023 · Download a Pokemon Emerald rom, specifically the one titled 1986 - Pokemon Emerald (U) (TrashMan) and extract the files. go to elite-redux.com and insert the rom file and click apply patch. When the modified rom is downloaded, it'll be saved as a gba.txt file. Go to your phones file manager and remove the .txt part of the filename

Jun 7, 2023 · I'm loving this ROM hack so far, and I'm a big fan of the story additions and changes. Thank you u/daninrl! Edit: Route 17/Cycling Road doesn't have grass that makes Pokemon appear. The grass is there on the map but no Pokemon spawn. Fishing works just fine. Fly menu is broken. Several cities I've been to are black and won't work.
