Blogtober Day 12 : Saturday. ♥ waking up early, realising it was Saturday and promtly going straight back to sleep. Waking up again (9 hours sleep!), then the luxury of a slow coffee in bed with my scented candle burner lit (currently loving "Late Summer" wax melts from the Botanical Candle Co).♥ opening birthday cards and gifts and feeling the love from friends and family.
Cosy Stripe Blanket - Attic24
To make a blanket with a width of 120cm (single bed size) chain 198 to begin. :: ROW 1 :: 1 treble into 4 th chain from hook (shown by my needle in the picture above). Work 1 treble into each chain along. Assuming we are counting the turning chain as a stitch, you should have 196 stitches in total. Chain 3 and turn.
Neat Ripple Pattern - Attic24
It should be in multiples of 14, plus an extra 3 added on for turning. I would strongly advise before you begin any ripply project to make a small ripple sample so that you're confident of the pattern. Make a chain of 31 (2x14 +3) as I'm doing here, which will give you a good idea of how it forms.

Starbright Blanket - Attic24
A completed seven round Starbright square should measure approx.13 cm square. It wants to feel quite compact, not too floppy or holey. The finished blanket measures approximately 130 cm x 130 cm. PATTERN NOTES. Each square is crocheted in seven rounds; the seventh round is worked using the join-as-you-go technique.
