You can change your settings on Google News to get local news about specific cities. On your computer, go to Google News. At the top, click Local. At the top, under "Your local news," click Manage . Add a city: Search for a city. Next to it, click Follow . Get more stories about your favorite city: Next to a city, click More Set as primary.

Check or change your Google News settings
Go to Google News. At the top right, click Settings Settings. Next to "Dark theme," choose from these options: System default (when available): Based on your device's system theme, the Google News color scheme will be light or dark. The availability of this feature depends on your browser. Always: The Google News color scheme will always be dark.
