Net Zero - DCCEEW
About the Net Zero Plan. The Australian Government’s Net Zero Plan will lay out and extend Australia’s action on climate change. Australia, along with all parties to the Paris Agreement, has committed to the global goal of holding the increase in global average temperatures to well below 2 °C of warming and pursuing efforts to keep warming to less than 1.5 °C.
Australia’s climate change strategies - DCCEEW
The Clean Energy Regulator administers the NGER, ERF, and RET schemes that we develop and oversee. The Climate Change Authority advises the government on Australia’s climate change policies and future emissions reduction targets. The Bureau of Meteorology monitors, analyses and communicates observed and future changes in Australia’s climate.
