OTD in 1948, Goodwood opened its doors for the first time as a Motor Circuit and played host to eight races - the most prestigious of which was aptly named the Goodwood Trophy. A grid of nine cars lined up for the five lap race and while fighting was fierce, it was ultimately the great Reg Parnell that took victory in his #Maserati 4CLT/48. 77 years on, the Goodwood Trophy remains one of the beloved events of the #GoodwoodRevival and is central to reliving the glory days of our historic circuit
