We took a look inside the cab of the legendary Big Boy No. 4014 as it passed through Topeka, KS. Big Boy is one of 25 locomotives built exclusively for the Union Pacific Railroad with the first one being delivered in 1941. Each of these locomotives measured 132 feet in length and weighed 1.2 million pounds. Union Pacific’s No. 4014 locomotive was delivered to the railroad in 1941 and retired in 1961.
