The legend of the "White Lady" in the Rochester area dates back to the 1800's, specifically to Durand Eastman Park in Irondequoit, NY. Legend has it that the woman was extremely protective of her teenage daughter, who one night went walking along the nearby Lake Ontario shoreline and never returned home. The mother spent the rest of her days walking that area, often in a white dress, looking for her daughter. To this day, locals swear they've seen the "White Lady's" spirits lurking in this histo
