A £500,000 statue of Britain's most famous black nurse has been unveiled. The bronze of Mary Seacole is the first memorial statue of a black woman in the UK. Mary Seacole is said to have saved the lives of countless wounded soldiers and nursed them back to health in a clinic in Crimea which she paid for out of her own pocket. | ITV London
