Heritage 1983 (Bank commercial) In 1983, the Bank of the Philippine Islands launched an ambitious “Heritage” campaign which traced BPI’s 123-year history. The campaign’s centerpiece was a TV commercial which took 6 months to plan, from December 1981 to June 1982. Location scouts initially went to Vigan, but the houses were whitewashed and roads asphalted, so they settled for Nasugbu and Taal, whose streets were dressed up to look like turn-of-the-century Pasig and Binondo. For the lead role, the
