More than a foot of rain swamped southeastern Wisconsin overnight into Sunday, flooding streets and shutting down roads across Milwaukee. The National Weather Service reported 7.5 to 13 inches of rain since Saturday night. Crews spent the morning rescuing stranded people. Remember, flooding can be deceptive.
